About me!

Hello! My name is Madeline Peng Miller and welcome to my website!

Linked in my site’s tabs are different segments of my full portfolio as well as a links to my Art Instagram and references. I graduated from UCSB’s Art Department in June 2021 and am currently working as an art assistant to Umar Rashid.

I draw, paint, make comics, and animate! I have a long history with traditional mediums such as painting and drawing, as well as more contemporary work including video and animation. Available for all your character design/concept art/illustration needs!

  • began work as an art assitant for Umar Rashid
  • graduated with a B.A. in Art from UCSB with a 3.92 GPA & highest honors
  • work featured in the UCSB Art Department’s Honors Thesis show in the Glassbox Gallery
  • given award of distinction for focused involvement and significant achievement in campus + community activities after illustrating for KCSB-FM
  • oversaw and produced the KCSB-FM 2021 Zine with community members and a volunteer force
  • oversaw and produced the UCSB Art Department Honors Program’s zine
  • featured in the UCSB Trans & Queer Commission’s virtual exhibition Queering Art
  • oversaw and produced the Telekinetic Jelly zine for the performance festival of the same name, organized by Shana Moulton
  • partnered with Art Locale™ selling prints as a contracted artist



  • began working at KCSB-FM 91.9 as the Archives Coordinator, self starting the entire Archives department
  • Dean’s list placement in the UCSB Art Department
